Cross my Heart Wristband: Featured in Summer Vibes 2024 - Blog Hop

Updated: Feb 6

Wristbands/ Friendship bands have for a long time been a part of our childhood memories. Pledging your loyalty and lifetime friendship with this simple gesture was heartwarming back in my school days; and now in my kids school time too!

This Pattern is a Feature Pattern for the 2026 Valentine's Day Advent Hop

Cross My Heart Wristband is a quick-make crochet pattern. This is a seamless, one piece wristband/bracelet. Awesome for craft fairs and quick makes for Friendship Day!

My Inspiration:

I have always loved making macrame friendship bracelets. I still make one for my best buddy (a.k.a Hubby dearest) every Friendship day :)

I started crocheting full time 9 years ago; I make crochet ones for for my kids, for their little buddies and friends every year. This is one I plan to make for the upcoming Friendship season - Cross My Heart Wristband.

Cross My Heart wristband was a popular pattern over the last couple of years and it's inspired multiple project for gifting and also spin off designs last year!

This series now has 5 patterns:

Comfort Crochet e-book on Ravelry!

  • Cross My Heart Wristband

  • Cross My Heart Earwarmer

  • Cross My Heart Twisted Cowl

  • Very Forgiving Beanie

Materials used:

The Wristband can be made with any DK/Light worsted weight yarn; preferably cotton.

I have used KOTTON 4ply from Magic Needles for the feature.

This yarn has a Yardage of approximately 266 yards for 100g.

What the PDF contains:

Pattern PDF consists of 2 versions of the wristband:

* Bead Closure (crocheted over)

* Button Closure

These wristbands are super quick to work up. Make them as customized as you need with shades of colors. The pattern is customizable and adaptable. Follow the basic instructions.
