Five Spice Coasters (Home Decor Pattern)

Updated: Dec 21, 2023

If you have followed my design journey .. I'm currently obsessed with Granny Stitch!

It's just so versatile and amazingly quick to work up!

When sitting at the drawing board to design for the AUTUMN HARVEST BLOG HOP, hosted by Tasha (Stardust Gold Crochet), I drew inspiration from the Star Anise and the little pockets the spice has in it's original form! Hence the Spice Coaster was born!

About the pattern: The Basic Coaster is a play of the Granny Square to give you strategically spaced pockets (eyelets) to imitate the pockets of flavors spices bring when added.

To go with the theme of Autumn 🍁🍂, the coasters have been made in colors of FALL which match the colors of spices I grew up around. Hence the FIVE SPICE COASTERS!
