The patterns Tara's & Neel's Decorative Collar - are a customizable collar patterns with a central textured portion that can be easily converted into an adjustable collar using a Crochet slider and a plastic buckle. You can use this pattern to easily reuse a buckle from an old leash or collar!

Neel's Decorative Collar pattern is available #freeonblog ( this blog defines how to make a long enough textured strip/band and the Crocheted Bow slider (which is used to make the band adjustable OR can be used as a decorative slider if you are making a fixed length attached to a Buckle.
This pattern is a mix of textured bobble stitches and dc. Worked in rows and bottom up; it is a fun pattern to try!

Assembly: This part is where we will see how to fix the collar we have made, to the Buckle and also how to make it adjustable, using the Crochet Slider.

NOTE: If you’d like to make the collar to the exact size of your pet’s neck measurement, then you can just slide the Circular Slide we made in PART C as shown in the figure, and add the two ends to the buckles as shown.
The first end of the collar; PART A is attached to one end of the buckle as shown. And sew to fix it as indicated by the arrow in the picture.
Now take the other end of the collar (Part C) and tread it through the Circular Slider as shown in the picture; so, the slider is placed after the Part B section of Collar as shown. Now we will thread the same free end through the other end of the Buckle as show by the yellow arrow.

Now as indicated by arrows, flip the slider over to Wrong Side and thread the free end again through slider as shown.

Now as indicated by arrows, Sew to join the free end of the collar to the part of the band as shown by arrows.
