All Stretched Out (organizer basket) - Digital Pattern ONLY
Organizing has never been easier or prettier. With this written pattern, you can make colorful organizing baskets – All Stretched Out!
SKILL Level – Easy
About Pattern: All Stretched Out are small Oval baskets that will be perfect to store knick-knacks and odd-bits! Worked up from a base with no join – this basket works up very quickly and can be easily modified to customize the size and depth of the baskets.
COMPLETED SIZE:
* Using bulky acrylic yarn, a basket of base around 7.5” in length, 3” in width and depth of approximately 2”
* Using t-shirt yarn, a basket of base around 9” in length, 3” in width and depth of approximately 2.5”
Materials:
● Yarn of choice – Super Bulky yarn / 12ply and a small amount of Aran weight yarn /8ply. I have used local yarn GANGA MOTU (12ply) and GANGA ALISHA (Aran weight)
NOTE: The base is worked in Super Bulky and the Sides of the Basket will use both the yarns held together.
The Orange sample is worked with t-shirt yarn.
● Alternate yarn can be used to get basket of different thickness or stiffness.
● Crochet hook - preferred hook that works with chosen yarn. I have used a 7mm hook to give me stiff stitches when both the yarns are used together.
● Stitch Markers, scissors and a needle to finish up.
Gauge: N/A PLEASE NOTE - According to the gauge/yarn/ hook used, the size and stiffness of the project may vary. Custom instructions, if any, will be highlighted.
