A Hearty Affair - 2 new Patterns on Ravelry!

Batty - the most adorable pup to enter our lives; was the inspiration for these two new patterns Designed for the PET APPRECIATION BLOG HOP -
This project was one meant for him. The heart and soul he brought into my BFF's life and hence into ours; for the warmth he added and the everlasting space he made in our hearts. Today marks his GOTCHA DAY, and hence this feature today.
This is my small way of thanking Batty for letting us into his life and sharing those precious moments with us.
We miss you Batty.

⁉️ - Who is Batty?
Batty was my bestie's (@cherumanalil) furry baby, who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. I have grown up with pets as a child, but a nasty experience with one of them left me scarred for life. At a time when I was petrified to be around a pup, was when Batty came into our lives.
The most patient pup (though his mumma said otherwise sometimes), amazing with my bratty human kids, and extremely tuned into my trepidation about being near him. Took me a few years to tune in and get comfortable around him; but he waited for me to get to that level, even on his most excited days, he wouldn't jump, cause he understood.
Last year, I set about designing a gift for another friend's furry baby. Leading to the drafting of the beginnings of the Heart To Heart Collar. Having tested it, and marked for corrections - this was to be a Christmas gift for Batty. Unfortunately, I waited too long.

⁉️ - Why now?
August 24th is Batty's 'Gotcha Day'; The day he entered into my Bestie's life and changed all of ours forever! After discussion with his mumma, we decided to publish this pattern in his memory.

SKILL Level – Easy/Intermediate – uses Tapestry Crochet.
About Pattern: This is a simple no Sew/ minimum sew Pattern to make a handsome Heart patterned Collar. This comes with tangle free toes and loop that worked into the pattern.
COMPLETED SIZE: 16 inches in length with loop and ties additional to fit all sizes. You can make it smaller by reducing the repeats of the Heart motif. If yarn used is thicker, the size may vary – this can be controlled by reducing the repeats of the Heart motif.
Materials:
● Light DK/ Sport weight – Cotton/Cotton mix;
● I HAVE USED: KOTTON 4Ply from Magic Needles Yardage: 380m/415 yards for 150g About 30 yards of COLOR1 (Main color) and about 25 yards of COLOR 2 (accent color)
● Crochet hook - preferred hook that works with chosen yarn. I HAVE USED: US Size B/C (2.5mm hook) for the project featured in the picture.
● Stitch Markers, scissors and a needle to finish up.
